Welcome to Life of Paola

Hello! You have no idea how ecstatic I am that you are HERE! Blogging is not something I am very familiarized with, but I do document a whole lot on my Instagram (make sure to follow me on Instagram!), so that counts, right?

This blog will be dedicated to me sharing design inspirations, home projects, home decor, and my DIY's or DI-Try's, as many call it. This is another creative outlet in which I hope to encourage you and many others to make your home a place you LOVE. I mean, we all have a few parts of our home that we wish were different right? What better way to change up that space then by doing it ourselves! It's scary at first drilling holes, painting walls, or tearing down walls (pro level). But, once you dip your toes in the pond and start getting comfortable with power tools and trusting your design skills, the options and opportunities begin to feel endless.

When I tell you that my first DIY project was staining and hanging up some wooden shelves from some wood I cut at Lowe's, and now I have built a few coffee tables, decorative ladders, AND installed a few accent walls...you probably wouldn't believe it. I learned and have refined my skills in just two years with the help of Youtube and an amazing DIY community on Instagram.

I do not have a fancy degree or certificate, I take inspiration from the resources that are readily available not just to me, but to you as well.
